The Spencer Maxwell Foundation is Up and Running!
We are thrilled to share that the Spencer Maxwell Foundation is well and truly up and running, making a tangible impact by funding essential mental health and wellbeing initiatives across our communities.
Our goal is simple: to help bridge gaps in care. We are delighted and grateful to be supporting these recent meaningful projects:
Community Coping Skills Group: We are proud to have funded a local primary care practice (GP clinic) to deliver a 12-week community-based coping skills group. Demand has been high - the very first cohort is completely full, and a waiting list has already formed for the next intake.
Individual Therapy Support: We have funded several individuals directly to access assessments and dedicated, short-term focused therapy to support them on their journey to wellbeing.
Supporting Whangārei Proud: We are delighted to provide funding to Whangārei Proud, supporting them as they continue their excellent mahi, with a dedicated focus on delivering programmes that support and enhance mental health.

We look forward to sharing more updates as we work to expand our reach and assist more people.
